Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in North Bristol.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide academic and social support to students with SEN, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning plans, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging and community among students.
- Facilitate small group interventions, helping students to develop essential skills and build confidence.
- Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications.
- An empathetic, calm, and patient manner, with a strong ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
