Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Fund Services team, you will be responsible for servicing a portfolio of alternative investment fund clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main accounting and administration liaison and point of contact for your clients.
  • Managing client relationships, ensuring client deliverables are met, and providing a high level of service.
  • Overseeing the periodic and annual reporting processes, providing technical input on and review of management accounts and financial statements.
  • Supervising the management of the audit process.
  • Delivering key fund administration processes such as capital calls and distributions.
  • Ensuring compliance with Know Your Customer and Client Due Diligence obligations.
  • Reviewing client payments on various bank platforms.
  • Providing ongoing technical coaching and development of junior staff.
  • Managing client billing and cash management processes.
  • Monitoring finance and compliance-related KPIs.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc projects as required.

Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A fully qualified accounting qualification, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related role, preferably in alternative investments.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience with consolidation and eFront and/or Yardi would be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and mentor junior staff.
