Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Job Coach and Outreach Specialist to join our team in Launceston. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients, working collaboratively with a vibrant and goals-focused team of employment services professionals.

  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS: Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses to identify job opportunities that align with the needs and skills of our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Strong ability to build rapport with clients, employers, and colleagues.
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF DISABILITY SUPPORT: Understanding of the principles and practices of disability support and employment services.
