Tax Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Private Client Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients and working closely with Partners and Client Relationship Managers to deliver the objectives of the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring a high-quality tax compliance service.
- Supervise and manage the personal tax return process, maintaining an up-to-date technical knowledge of business tax, personal tax, and capital taxes.
- Provide high-level technical and tax planning advice to clients, working with other members of the Tax Team, Partners, and Client Relationship Managers.
- Support the management of the department's compliance function, ensuring adherence to internal policy and procedures.
- Mentor and train Tax Seniors and Assistants, delegating work as necessary.
- Liaise with the client service team and colleagues in other disciplines to provide a coordinated service to clients.
- Involve in tax advisory and planning work on clients and other ad-hoc projects as they arise.
- Personal tax experience with working knowledge of other taxes and practical experience of using software systems in the preparation of personal and company tax returns.
- Qualified in CTA, CA, ATT, or equivalent, with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
