**About the Role**
Eden Scott is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Planning Specialist to join their team in either Edinburgh or Dundee office. As a key member of the financial planning team, you will provide essential support to financial advisers through technical research and report writing, attending meetings as required.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Provide technical research and report writing support to financial advisers
• Attend meetings as required to support the advice process
• Work closely with financial advisers to deliver high-quality advice to clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and development
• Train, mentor, and coach junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
**Requirements**
• Diploma qualified or close to obtaining in financial planning
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management, providing support to financial advisers
• Strong software and IT skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to work inline with FCA legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to the company's direction of travel
