At HDR, we're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Power Delivery Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing project delivery, establishing client briefs, and ensuring technical quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project/package delivery, establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plan and agree deliverables.
  • Carry out engineering concept design to detailed design, ensuring projects are undertaken in accordance with design briefs and that completion deadlines are achieved.
  • Ensure all design projects and reports within the group are technically compliant, to a consistent quality and standard.
  • Assist with the development of new business opportunities and participate with company presentations.
  • Monitor and control project progress, design variations and project financial budgets.
  • Implement and manage QA systems and procedures on all projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; preferably master's degree.
  • Minimum 8 years of technical design experience with high voltage electrical switchyard and substation projects of varying complexity up to 765kV.
  • Able to establish rapport and good working relationships within the project team and Clients.
  • Managing Electrical Design throughout all design stages.
  • Wide experience of critical systems power engineering and multiples levels of resilience including earthing, HV and LV protection systems.
  • Competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
