Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Eden Scott is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh or Glasgow. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering renewable energy projects from feasibility to completion.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. You will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and hydrogen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for renewable energy projects
  • Conducting technical reviews of electrical engineering deliverables
  • Managing and overseeing construction phase services
  • Acting as the Senior Electrical Design Engineer for engineering work packages
  • Managing and leading meetings between internal professionals, owners, contractors, and utilities
  • Preparing electrical engineering proposals and reports
