Category Manager (Indirects) Job Summary:
Henderson Brown Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Category Manager to join their team in County Durham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing indirect categories, driving cost savings, and fostering supplier innovation. As a key member of the procurement function, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's growth and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including department heads and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and develop plans to execute them.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and improving supplier performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum.
