Big Data Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team. As a Big Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data processing pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and other Big Data technologies.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data storage systems using NoSQL databases and cloud storage solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data processing systems with business applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Big Data engineering.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles.
