Training and Development Specialist

At Wincanton Logistics, we are committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of training and development across our operations.
Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver planned training programs to meet professional standards, adhering to RTITB guidelines.
- Assess and document individual progress, following site procedures.
- Adapt training techniques to cater to diverse needs, if required.
- Maintain up-to-date training qualifications and expertise.
- Conduct comprehensive site inductions for new joiners, agency staff, and visitors, aligning with company policy.
- Implement manual handling training for all staff members.
- Ensure accurate and compliant training documentation, adhering to legal requirements and standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop SSOW and SOPs, promoting efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Experience as a trainer within a similar industry or environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with developed presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and self-management capabilities.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages is preferred.
- Able to build rapport effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Quality and Health & Safety Standards.
- MHE Licenses, with at least 2 years of experience operating Counterbalance/Reach Trucks.
- RTITB Instructor/Examiner License (training can be provided).
