We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Outpatient Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy care in the outpatient pelvic health physiotherapy setting.
- Assess and treat patients with diverse pelvic floor dysfunction presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
- Communicate with relevant colleagues, multidisciplinary team members, and patients, relatives, and carers to facilitate a team approach to patient care.
- Hold responsibility for own caseload, working without direct supervision.
- Supervise, educate, and assess more junior physiotherapists.
- Undertake evidence-based audit and assist in the implementation of specific changes to practice or contribute to service protocols.
- Participate in virtual consultation models, when required.
- Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent.
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or equivalent recognized by the Health Care Professions Council.
- Documented evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Understanding of physiotherapy structure in the NHS.
- Standards - Health Care Professions Council/Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
- Clinical problem-solving ability.
- Skill in physiotherapeutic techniques.
- Highly developed physical skills, dexterity, coordination, and sensory skills for assessment and manual treatment of patients.
- Ability to assess patient conditions, establish a diagnosis, and formulate a specialized treatment plan from a range of modalities.
- Post-registration experience as a physiotherapist in pelvic health physiotherapy (area of specialism).
- UK NHS experience.
