About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Service at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality physiotherapy care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat patients with diverse pelvic floor dysfunction presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.
  • Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, carers, and multidisciplinary team members to facilitate a collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Hold responsibility for your caseload, working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Supervise, educate, and assess more junior physiotherapists, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Participate in virtual consultation models, as required, to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with:

  • A degree qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or equivalent recognized by the Health Care Professions Council.
  • Documented evidence of Continued Professional Development.
  • Understanding of Physiotherapy structure in the NHS, adhering to Health Care Professions Council and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy standards.
  • Interest in pelvic health physiotherapy, with a desire to develop your skills and expertise in this area.
