Key Responsibilities:- Equipment Maintenance:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machinery such as pumps, valves, compressors, heat exchangers, and conveyors to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on rotating and static equipment, adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure lubrication and servicing of equipment as per schedules to maintain mechanical integrity and prevent equipment failure.
- Install new mechanical systems and components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in the commissioning of equipment and ensure proper functioning post-installation, verifying that all systems are operating within designated parameters.
- Quickly and efficiently troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing corrective action to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Analyze equipment failures and suggest improvements to prevent recurring issues, contributing to the development of best practices and process enhancements.
- Perform basic welding and fabrication work for modifications and repairs, ensuring all fabricated parts comply with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for equipment upgrades and repairs, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment.
- Participate in safety drills and safety audits as required, contributing to the development of a culture of safety and responsibility.
- Report safety hazards and incidents in a timely manner, facilitating prompt resolution and minimizing risk.
- Work in compliance with local environmental and chemical safety regulations, ensuring the company's commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
