Role Overview:

Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year development programme designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. You will benefit from training, mentoring, and assistance for accreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidance you need to develop and succeed.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. You will work in teams of consultants, responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Geo-Environmental - As part of the multi-award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team, you will undertake site-based ground investigations to determine the nature and quality of ground conditions. This data will be used to inform design decisions or determine the need for environmental restoration. You will work as part of the project teams, undertaking site work, including soil & groundwater sampling and site supervision, as well as desk-based research and report writing.

Accepted degrees: BSc in Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science, Geophysics, Chemistry, Environmental Consultancy or similar.

Requirements:

  • You will be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills, including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
  • You will be willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
  • You will hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK.
  • You will be comfortable with site-based working, when required for projects.
