Broking Team Lead Opportunity

IDEX Consulting Ltd is proud to present a newly created position for a Broking Team Lead to join our corporate broking team. This exciting opportunity will provide a unique blend of people management and technical insurance work, offering a rare chance to grow and develop your skills in the Glasgow market.

The successful candidate will be joining a well-established broking team that services clients predominantly in the £20k - £100k income range, with some larger global clientele also handled through this site. The team has experienced significant growth in the past 12 months, driven by client acquisition and a unique joined-up culture.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 4-6 experienced Client Advisors, managing key client work, project delivery, and complex referrals. You will also be responsible for managing team performance, appraisals, and coaching to help your team members unlock their potential.

This is a hybrid role, with a split between home and office work, and a competitive salary of up to £65,000 plus extensive benefits. Ideally, you will have a background in corporate broking from a regional or national brokerage and be comfortable with technical broking skills. Some experience in a supervisor or senior role will be highly valued.
