Care and Support for Young People

This is a challenging yet rewarding role where you will provide care and support to young people in a residential setting. Working within a team, you will contribute to the development of personalized care plans and provide a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.

As a Care and Support Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people who have experienced adversity. You will work closely with colleagues to promote their health, education, and well-being, and support them in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in conjunction with residents and their families.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote residents' health, education, and well-being.
  • Support residents in achieving their goals and aspirations.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote inclusion and equality.

Person Specification

  • Experience of working with children and young people in a residential or care setting.
  • Strong commitment to inclusion and equality, with a focus on promoting diversity and valuing differences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for residents.
