Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Consultant to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Quantum Consultant, you will play a key role in carrying out claims and quantum analysis for our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with experience in claims and formal dispute proceedings. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of claims for loss and expense and other contractual entitlements, as well as supporting with the preparation of adjudication documentation.

You will also be expected to provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction life cycle, proactively manage cashflow, and actively contribute to business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of claims for loss and expense and other contractual entitlements
  • Support with the preparation of adjudication documentation
  • Quantum Forensic analysis of tender, contract, and claims documentation
  • Provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction life cycle
  • Proactively manage cashflow
  • Actively contribute to business development
Requirements
  • 5 years minimum experience within a Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management background, preferably with a premium, major building or civil engineering contractor / subcontractor.
  • Familiarity with claims and formal dispute proceedings.
  • Good knowledge of common contracts such as NEC and JCT & FIDIC.
  • Strong reports writing skills are essential.
  • Good written and spoken English.
