Job Title: Quantum Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Consultant to join our team at Maxim Recruitment. As a Quantum Consultant, you will be responsible for carrying out claims and quantum analysis for our clients in the construction industry.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with experience in claims and formal dispute proceedings. You will be responsible for providing strategic advice to clients at all stages of the construction life cycle, including tender, contract, and claims documentation.

You will also be responsible for drafting written reports, setting out process, conclusions, and recommendations. Additionally, you will have knowledge of operating and implementing Standard Forms of Contract (JCT/NEC/FIDIC) and be able to provide proactive cashflow management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out claims and quantum analysis for clients in the construction industry
  • Provide strategic advice to clients at all stages of the construction life cycle
  • Draft written reports, setting out process, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Have knowledge of operating and implementing Standard Forms of Contract (JCT/NEC/FIDIC)
  • Provide proactive cashflow management
Requirements
  • 5 years minimum experience within a Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management background
  • Familiarity with claims and formal dispute proceedings
  • Good knowledge of common contracts such as NEC and JCT & FIDIC
  • Strong reports writing skills
  • Good written and spoken English
