EU Road Freight Role

As a key member of our logistics team in Manchester, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods across Europe, ensuring timely delivery and accurate customs clearance. This involves working closely with customers and hauliers to arrange bookings, managing key accounts to develop and retain business, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will also need a solid understanding of customs regulations and procedures, as well as experience with CNS / Destin8 and CDS systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Liaising with customers and hauliers to arrange bookings and ensure timely delivery
  2. Managing key accounts to develop and retain business
  3. Coordinating customs clearances and preparing documentation
  4. Monitoring and analysing shipment data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  5. Communicating with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
