Company Overview
We are a leading international freight forwarding company operating from nine locations in the UK. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Customs Coordinator with road freight operations knowledge to join us.

Salary
Up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
We require a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee road freight operations and customs entries for EU road freight. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and be proficient in relevant software for transportation management.

  • Liaise with customers and hauliers to arrange transport bookings.
  • Coordinate end-to-end European road freight operations.
  • Assist key accounts and develop new business opportunities.
  • Prepare customs entries on imports and exports ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in European road freight operations.
  • A sound understanding of CNS/Destin8.
  • Experience of CDS essential for this role.
  • Good trade tariff knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to problem solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
