Job Title: Development Manager Property

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join our team at This Land, a leading real estate developer in the East of England.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project success from initial concept to final handover, gaining hands-on experience across the entire development process. This includes project management, financial analysis, planning, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to ensure projects are financially sound.
  • Navigate the complex world of planning and statutory approvals by liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders.
  • Manage key relationships, ensuring clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Assist with financial oversight, including budgets, cash flow, and cost monitoring.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and quality standards.
  • Identify risks and contribute to strategies that keep projects on course.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Geography, Property Development, Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in property development, real estate, or construction.
  • Familiarity with planning regulations, construction processes, or property finance.
  • Motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about real estate.
  • Thrive under pressure and can meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable to new challenges.
