Job Overview
The Social Media and Content Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that enhances our brand awareness, strengthens relationships with key decision-makers, and drives business growth within our target audience. You will create, manage, and optimise content across various channels, positioning our company as a thought leader while engaging potential clients and partners. The role demands a strong focus on audience engagement, lead generation, and storytelling to communicate our value proposition effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a robust social media and content plan to drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation within our B2B market.
- Create compelling, high-quality content (blogs, white papers, case studies, videos, infographics, etc.) that resonates with business leaders and decision-makers in our target sectors.
- Manage the company's social media presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and other relevant platforms, ensuring consistent messaging that appeals to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, and customer success) to identify content opportunities that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Work closely with marketing to optimise content for lead generation, ensuring it attracts, nurtures, and converts prospects.
- Monitor and analyse social media and content performance metrics to optimise plans and drive continuous improvement in audience engagement.
- Engage with industry influencers, partners, and thought leaders through social media to increase our brand's visibility and credibility.
- Manage and execute social media advertising campaigns to grow our audience and drive conversions, particularly on LinkedIn.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging platforms to ensure our social media strategy remains innovative and competitive.
- Ensure content is SEO-optimised to boost organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B social media management and content creation.
- Proven ability to create content that drives engagement, leads, and business growth. Strong understanding of B2B marketing, audience segmentation, and buyer personas.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, impactful content.
- Hands-on experience managing social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) and content management tools.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations for improving content and social media strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and content optimisation.
- Experience with social media advertising, particularly LinkedIn Ads, is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
