Commercial Contract Lawyer with Hybrid Working Flexibility

Our client, a highly regarded legal team, is seeking a Legal Counsel / Commercial Lawyer to join them for a 9 – 12 month fixed term contract. This opportunity may lead to a permanent position at the end of the contract term.
Based in Bedfordshire, this role involves drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements. You will also advise and assist the business on various legal matters.
Hybrid Working Opportunity: The head office is in Luton, but the company considers candidates who can come into the office two days a week. Working in the office more is also possible.
- A strong foundation in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
- Able to work in a busy in-house legal department and provide day-to-day commercial advice to all departments within the business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate legal issues in a business-friendly way and influence key stakeholders
- Able to effectively manage competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
- A UK qualified solicitor with strong academics ranging from 1 to 6 years PQE
Candidates with 1 – 6 years PQE are preferred, but the company is open to considering applications from candidates with relevant experience outside this range.
