Job DescriptionEstimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled A Level PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Haringey on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to A Level PE students, ensuring all aspects of the curriculum are covered.
They will incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles, including practical demonstrations, group discussions, and independent research.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of A Level PE students
- Incorporate a range of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles
- Stay up-to-date with changes in the PE curriculum and examination board requirements
- Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in enrichment activities or PE-related initiatives, where possible
Requirements
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Proven track record of successfully teaching PE at A Level
