Warehouse Operative/Van Driver

**Job Summary:**

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our client's team in Newtownabbey. This is a temporary to permanent position with a competitive rate of pay of £12 per hour.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with the processing and distribution of orders for customers across Northern Ireland
* Pick, pack, and complete despatch of all orders
* Produce Packing Lists using associated computers
* Check fellow associates' work
* Move stock within the warehouse
* Load and unload vehicles
* Input consignment details for UK carriers
* Maintain a safe working environment

**Requirements:**

* Good numeracy skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Previous experience in a warehouse environment
* Full Clean UK driving licence for at least 5 years

**Desirable Criteria:**

* Previous experience in the motor factors industry
* Reach forklift licence
* Previous delivery driving experience
