About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily irrigation and fertigation strategies, as well as maintaining the growing environment, including temperature, humidity, and CO2 control. They will also be responsible for regular crop walking, highlighting crop management work and recording any pest and disease issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of daily irrigation and fertigation strategies
- Management of the growing environment, including temperature, humidity, and CO2 control
- Regular crop walking, highlighting crop management work and recording any pest and disease issues
- Biological control monitoring, ordering process, and tracking
- Assist in creating spray plans and schedules, ensuring crops are being sprayed at the correct time and in the correct way
- General maintenance of operating systems and infrastructure
We are looking for a candidate with growing experience in a commercial glasshouse environment. The ideal candidate will be confident in making day-to-day decisions, enthusiastic about their work duties, and flexible with regards to working hours.
Package:We offer a competitive salary of £37-41k DOE, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company mobile phone, 5% pension contribution, and post-probation benefits, including private medical insurance, life assurance, eye test, and glasses contributions.
