Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional standards and dietary requirements of our clients.
  • Culinary Operations Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation and serving meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and rotation of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all stock is properly managed and accounted for.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and aware of health and safety procedures, and that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and cleaned.
  • Staff Supervision and Development: Supervise and train kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are able to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the quality of our food and service.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in professional cookery or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in culinary operations management.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures, food safety regulations, and nutritional standards.
