Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies to prevent injuries and damage to plant and equipment.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company safety arrangements.
  • Provide training and consulting services on health and safety and environmental issues to employees and contractors.
  • Assist in the development of method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe working practices.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and ensure that the organization's safety policies and procedures are compliant.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certification.
  • Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Previous experience in a construction health and safety position.
