Are you a recent graduate or final-year student with a passion for education? Do you want to gain invaluable experience in schools before committing to teacher training? Teaching Personnel is offering the perfect opportunity for aspiring teachers to join our Future Teachers Programme in Liverpool.

About the Future Teachers Programme:

Our structured Future Teachers Programme is designed to give you first-hand experience working in a school setting, helping you develop the skills and confidence to become a fully qualified teacher. This one-year paid placement will see you working alongside experienced teaching staff, offering classroom support, delivering lessons, and learning essential classroom management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  • Working with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to help improve their academic progress.
  • Assisting with planning and preparing learning materials.
  • Gaining experience in managing classroom behaviour.
  • Observing and learning from experienced teachers.
  • Developing your understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) with a degree in any subject.
  • Passionate about pursuing a career in education.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • An ability to build relationships with students and staff.
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
  • A positive role model with a desire to inspire and support students.

Requirements:

  • A degree in any subject or be in the final year of study.
  • A commitment to pursuing a career in teaching.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
