About this Teaching Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Special Needs Teacher to join our SEN provision. As a member of our team, you will work with students who require tailored support due to their complex needs. Your primary responsibilities will include developing lesson plans, managing challenging behaviors, and collaborating with support staff to ensure individualized education.

Responsibilities:
  • Create personalized educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of each student.
  • Apply effective strategies to assist students with sensory impairments and severe learning difficulties.
  • Effectively manage and mitigate challenging behaviors, promoting a secure and supportive learning environment.
  • Closely collaborate with support staff and specialists to provide comprehensive educational support.
  • Regularly monitor and report on student progress, adjusting teaching methods to optimize each child's potential.


Your Background:
  • You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong passion for SEND education.
  • You may have prior experience working with students who have severe or profound learning difficulties.
  • You possess expertise in communication systems like Makaton and PECS.
  • You embody a patient, understanding, and encouraging teaching philosophy.
  • You excel in interpersonal communication and collaboration.
