Join Our Team: CV-Library is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Early Years department, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment that promotes each child's development and well-being. You will provide tailored support to children with SEND in the Early Years setting.

  1. Child Support: Assist children who require personal care, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and hygiene needs are met.
  2. Linguistic Support: Assist children with speech and communication difficulties, implementing individualised strategies to enhance their language skills.
  3. Social and Emotional Development: Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  4. Progress Monitoring: Monitor and record children's progress, contributing to assessments and planning.
Requirements:
  • Experience Working with Young Children: Experience working with young children, particularly those with SEND.
  • Personal Care Skills: Ability to provide personal care in a respectful and sensitive manner.
  • Patience and Empathy: Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in childcare or SEND.
