Mental Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Cygnet Nield House.
Job OverviewThis full-time position, 42 hours per week, requires an experienced RMN with a current PIN Number to deliver exceptional care to patients with mental health needs. The successful candidate will be working across a mixed shift pattern in a 29-bed mental health hospital for women.
Salary InformationThe estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £38,000 based on national averages and UK cost of living.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-quality written reports based on nursing assessments and observations
- Collaborate with the management team to develop services, audit, and improve quality
- Attend training and engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance knowledge and promote best practices in nursing
- Ensure individual care plans are complete and maintained in accordance with NMC guidelines, involving residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals
- Administer medicines within healthcare procedures and commission guidelines
- A current UK PIN Number as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- An excellent understanding of the latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery and risk management
- Compassion, resilience, and dedication to empower and support service user independence
- The ability to deputise in a clinical lead role
- An interest in leadership, research, and assessment
