Job Summary:

Aeropeople Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Power Systems Verification Specialist. As a key member of our Electrical Verification Team, you will be responsible for the verification and validation of the power system through compatibility testing of equipment and power system analysis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Producing and maintaining electrical requirements
  • Assisting the team in setup, execution, and analysis of test results
  • Providing technical guidance to ensure testing is carried out in accordance with requirements
  • Assisting the team with solving technical issues and queries across multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, suppliers, and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility
  • Preparing technical reports, progress reports, and presentations, communicating results and advising recommendations

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Knowledge of compatibility testing of electrical equipment and power electronics
  • Project Management experience would be advantageous
  • Chartered Engineer or actively working towards Chartership
  • Eligibility to apply for SC clearance and hold a British passport with 5 years of residency in the UK
