Job Title: Humanities Instructor

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Humanities Instructor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with students in key stage 3 and 4 levels, shaping their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum. As a Humanities Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects, including English, History, and Geography, and working closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching Humanities subjects in a UK secondary school setting
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training and a enhanced DBS certificate
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
