BDP is a global architecture, engineering, and design practice with 19 studios worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Wayfinding Consultant/Designer with extensive experience working in various sectors of the built environment to join our team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing wayfinding and signage projects.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing engaging and inclusive design strategies for major buildings, fostering a sense of place and belonging, embracing culture and brand identities, and ensuring easy-to-use and positively influenced employee and visitor experiences.

This role requires the ability to work with directors, project teams, and clients to deliver high-quality wayfinding and signage projects across various sectors, including healthcare, education, culture, sports, and workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present concept and developed designs for client review and approval
  • Create wayfinding strategy reports and sign information content systems
  • Design intent drawings, specifications, message schedules, and sign location plans
  • Prepare technical and performance specifications
  • Participate in design team and stakeholder meetings/presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic, communication, or information design
  • Extensive experience in wayfinding and/or information design
  • Expert user of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and 3D applications
  • Experience with Autocad and/or Revit projects
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage projects
