Job Description

As an Investment Director - Real Assets, you will be responsible for supporting the sourcing, reviewing, and recommending direct investments for our client's property portfolio in Europe. This will involve leading certain aspects of financial and commercial due diligence work streams, as well as coordinating legal, tax, operational, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reviews for relevant investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in sourcing, reviewing, and making recommendations for appropriate direct investments for the property portfolio in Europe.
  • Lead certain aspects of financial and commercial due diligence work streams and support in coordinating legal, tax, operational, and ESG reviews for relevant investments.
  • Review and work with financial models to analyze and determine key drivers of performance and to make appropriate assumptions to determine expected investment returns.
  • Assist in formulating strategies to achieve investment objectives with regards to property.
  • Manage relationships with and information flows from external fund managers and/or direct property companies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline.
  2. Experience in a property-oriented investment role with a high direct investment or co-investment component.
  3. Experience in M&A, public-to-private investments, private equity investments in property-related companies, and joint ventures.
  4. Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills and outstanding written and verbal communication/presentation delivery skills.
  5. Solid network of contacts locally and globally.
