Job Title: Technical Supervisor - Sports

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Supervisor to join our Sports team at Sky. As a key member of our Technical Management team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our production teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality sports content.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality sports content.
  • Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of technical systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support the team.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Work closely with the Technical Management team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a technical role within the broadcast industry, with a strong understanding of broadcast technology and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of IP and cloud-based workflows, with experience in remote production and HDR.
