We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Sustainability Coordinator to join our team at Ecotricity. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to make Britain a greener place.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, input, and analyze data across various business activities to track our carbon footprint and sustainability targets.
- Support the implementation of our scope 3 strategy, ensuring alignment with our environmental goals.
- Maintain our document database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers to promote sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO 14001, and track actions to ensure compliance.
- Promote awareness of the environmental impact of business decisions and support policy reviews and legislative updates.
- Stay up-to-date on sustainability trends and support business initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.
- Provide administrative support at sustainability meetings, including agenda development and note-taking.
- Produce Board reports and project updates using data gathered.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical and numeracy skills, excellent IT skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be proactive, able to work under pressure, and have a high level of quality assurance and due diligence.
Desirable Qualifications- Experience with carbon footprinting and sustainability-focused roles.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 and sustainability best practices.
