We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our team of 400+ engineers. As a key member of our UK Tech leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the engineering vision and strategy for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of 400 engineers across software and quality engineering, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  2. Develop and implement a comprehensive engineering strategy, aligning with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve engineering practices, ensuring the adoption of best-in-class technologies and methodologies.
  4. Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  5. Represent the engineering function on the UK Tech leadership team, providing input on technical strategy and direction.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization remains competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  1. Proven track record of leading large software engineering teams, with a strong background in software development and engineering practices.
  2. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of engineers.
  3. Strong technical skills, with expertise in software development, architecture, and engineering practices.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA.
