Technical Sales Engineer Role Overview

Zero Surplus is seeking a driven and motivated Technical Sales Engineer to maintain and secure new and existing business across the South of the UK.

This exciting role will focus on high growth customers within chemical, pharma, scientific, and energy sectors, utilising engineering experience and strong communication skills to ascertain client needs and desires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop new business opportunities through client visits, proposal writing, and sales engagement.
  • Manage existing accounts, building strong relationships with senior management and technically focused decision-makers.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.

About You:

  • You will have 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in an engineering or technical sales background.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel are required, with approximately 25% of the time spent on the road.
