Festive Delivery Associate

Pertemps is proud to support Royal Mail in recruiting reliable and enthusiastic individuals to work as Postal Delivery Workers across Scotland during the peak festive period.
About the Job:- Sort and collect post/parcels at the local delivery office for efficient delivery.
- Utilize a hand-held device for customer signature capture, navigating through a designated route for effective delivery management.
- Engage in physically demanding tasks, walking a minimum of 8 miles daily while carrying post bags containing letters and parcels.
- Execute deliveries on foot or by vehicle, occasionally pushing/pulling a post trolley.
- A valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points is mandatory; a clean license is preferred.
- Previous delivery or driving experience is desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities for delivering excellent customer service.
- Commit to safe and responsible driving practices.
- Be prepared to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexible scheduling: work 5 days out of 7, potentially including weekends.
Location: Unit 7-11 East Telferton Industrial Estate, Edinburgh, EH7 6XD
Shift Pattern: 12:00 – 20:00, Monday - Saturday
Estimated Salary: £17.52 per hour
