Job Overview:

Aurora Redehall School is a unique educational institution that caters to students with difficulties in communication and social interaction, typically associated with Autism. Our school is linked with the Caterham Education Centre, sharing the same Principal and Head of School. However, each site has its own Assistant Head, teachers, and teaching assistants.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of £33,075 - £50,471 per year (M1 - UPS3 Fringe), plus a £5,000 Welcome Bonus for Qualified Teachers*. The successful candidate will also enjoy a generous package of benefits, including full therapy support on-site and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students in Years 2-6
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and creative curriculum
  • Work closely with the therapy team to support students with special needs
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and success of our students and staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience working with students with Autism or similar special needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
