Education Support Associate

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Education Support Associate to join their team on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children in a specialist school for students with complex learning disabilities.
About the RoleAs an Education Support Associate, you will assist students with special educational needs in the classroom and encourage the development of social skills. You will also monitor and document student progress, providing personal care support when needed. Your empathy, enthusiasm, and resilience will be essential in this rewarding role.
Responsibilities- Assist students with special educational needs in the classroom environment.
- Encourage the development of social skills among students.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Provide personal care support, including feeding, toileting, and mobility assistance as required.
- Able to demonstrate empathy, enthusiasm, and mental, physical, and emotional resilience.
- At least 6 months of experience working in care or education, preferably with children or young people with special needs.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
