Job Title: Coach, JV Softball, Albert Einstein High School

We are seeking a qualified and experienced coach to lead our JV Softball team at Albert Einstein High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive coaching plan, leading practices and games, and mentoring student-athletes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a coaching plan that aligns with the school's athletic program goals and objectives
  • Lead practices and games, providing instruction and guidance to student-athletes
  • Mentor student-athletes, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive team environment
Requirements:
  • MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS
  • Completed or enrolled in the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED"
  • Completed online MCPS Application
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience coaching JV Softball or a similar sport
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
