Job Title: Coach, JV Softball, Albert Einstein High School

We are seeking a qualified coach to lead our JV Softball team at Albert Einstein High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive coaching plan, leading practices and games, and mentoring student-athletes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a coaching plan that aligns with the school's athletic program goals
  • Lead practices and games, ensuring a safe and positive experience for student-athletes
  • Mentor student-athletes, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administrators
Requirements:
  • MCPS teacher or professional certified educator employed by MCPS
  • Completed or enrolled in the two credit MCPS course "Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries, Coaching Fundamentals and CPR/AED"
  • Completed online MCPS Application
Additional Information:

Coaches must be qualified and are hired for one season. Schools must hire qualified MCPS teachers or professional certified educators to coaching positions, if available. Emergency coaches may be hired if no qualified MCPS teacher or professional certified educator is available.
