This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of clinicians and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and governance. As a Mental Health Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for coaching, line managing and developing clinician staff, as well as supporting and contributing to audits and governance.
Key Responsibilities- Coach, line manage and develop clinician staff to optimize their performance and skills.
- Support and contribute to audits and governance to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners to drive collaboration and decision-making.
- Provide clinical supervision and carry out investigations locally and for the wider region to address complex issues.
- Deliver workshops to develop the team's learning in various areas, including clinical governance, health and safety, and quality improvement.
- Support the process of patient concerns and attend, contribute and progress actions from HMPPS/partnership meetings to ensure patient-centered care.

Essential Qualifications
- Registered Nurse Mental Health.
- Current professional qualification (NMC).
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
- Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and partners.
- Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship.
- Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards.
