Job Title: Early Years Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Education Specialist to join our team at Teach. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and care for children aged 0-5 years.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher and experience as a Deputy Manager, Room Leader, or similar. They will be responsible for supervising and evaluating nursery staff, maintaining a safe environment for all children and staff, developing relationships with parents to support child development, and acting in accordance with tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high standard of learning, development, and care for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Supervise and evaluate nursery staff to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for all children and staff.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents to support child development and well-being.
  • Act in accordance with tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager.

Main Activities:

  • Provide a safe and caring environment for children at all times.
  • Ensure the nursery meets Ofsted regulations and maintains a good reputation.
  • Understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures to deliver an appropriate EYFS curriculum.
  • Work closely with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation plan.
