Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Specialist Primary School in Wheatley. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a small class of SEN pupils aged 5 to 11, who may have autism, ADHD, down syndrome, learning difficulties, communication challenges, or physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and group support under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Track the progress made by each child and assist them in achieving new milestones
  • Support behaviour management and nurture life skills
  • Offer social and emotional support and create a stimulating and safe learning environment
