MTM Gerber Pattern Cutter Job Description

Our client, a luxury womenswear RTW brand, is seeking a skilled Junior Gerber Pattern Cutter to join their talented and super busy Atelier. The successful candidate will work on MTM and Bespoke products, collaborating with the Head Bespoke Pattern Cutter to review orders, carry out pattern amendments, and ensure all patterns meet the business's expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and review orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Carry out pattern amendments and make adjustments as needed.
  • Work with the Head Bespoke Pattern Cutter to ensure all patterns meet the business's expectations.
  • Liaise with design and machinists to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Work with a variety of fabrics, embroideries, and other materials to create custom orders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in pattern cutting, including an internship or 1st/2nd jobber.
  • Gerber training and experience working with CLO3d or Browzwear.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with a creative and solution-driven attitude.
