Create Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an experienced Gerber Pattern Cutter to join their team on a freelance basis. Our client, a leading luxury designer, requires a highly skilled Pattern Cutter to work on their ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create first patterns using the Gerber/Lectra system while working alongside designers and seamstresses to ensure garments meet client expectations.
  • Produce first patterns and make amendments to existing patterns as needed.
  • Work from spec sheet comments and follow through each action point to finalized patterns for grading and bulk production.
  • Check and fix graded patterns before sending them to manufacturers.

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent understanding of fit and garment construction from a development and factory capability perspective.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask across changing priorities.
  • Flexibility required during peak times to manage workload.
  • A team player with great interpersonal skills and clear communication.
  • Confident in digitizing, marker making, and laying plans.

The successful candidate will have prior pattern cutting experience working with Gerber and be immediately available to work in a fast-paced environment.
